Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HabitDNA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

HabitDNA is a time-based habit tracking application that provides live timers, AI-driven insights, gamification features, analytics, community leaderboard, home screen widget, and Wear OS companion. The service is available as a mobile application on Android.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • One account per person — shared accounts are not permitted
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use HabitDNA

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan: Includes unlimited habits, timers, dashboard, streaks, gamification, offline queue, community leaderboard, home screen widget, and 50 lifetime AI credits with a 5 credits/day spending limit. Free users can earn additional credits by watching rewarded ads (5 credits per ad, up to 5 ads per day).

Premium Plan (₹99/month): Includes everything in Free, plus unlimited AI usage (no credit limits), no ads, priority AI responses, and advanced weekly reports.

5. AI Credits & Usage

  • AI features consume credits: Chat Coach (0.5 credits), Daily Insights (1.0 credit), Weekly Reports (2.0 credits)
  • Credits are checked before each AI call — requests are rejected if insufficient
  • Free users receive 50 lifetime credits with a 5 credits/day limit
  • Free users can earn 5 credits by watching a rewarded ad (max 5 ads/day)
  • Premium users have unlimited AI usage — no credits are deducted

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • Refunds are handled by Google Play per their policies
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Community & Social Features

  • The Community Leaderboard is opt-in — your data is not visible to others unless you enable it
  • When opted in, your display name, level, XP, and badge count are visible to other users
  • You can opt out at any time from the Community screen, which immediately removes your data from the leaderboard
  • The Share Progress feature generates a text summary you can share via any app — no data is sent to our servers for sharing

8. Advertising

  • Free users may watch optional rewarded video ads to earn AI credits
  • Ads are served by Google AdMob
  • Premium users never see ads
  • We do not show banner or interstitial ads — only user-initiated rewarded ads

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Abuse AI features (e.g., automated scripting, excessive requests)
  • Circumvent credit limits or payment systems

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of HabitDNA is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

11. Limitation of Liability

HabitDNA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will trigger a full data purge per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
