Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using HabitDNA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

HabitDNA is a time-based habit tracking application that provides live timers, AI-driven insights, gamification features, and analytics. The service is available as a mobile application on iOS and Android.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • One account per person — shared accounts are not permitted
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use HabitDNA

4. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan: Includes unlimited habits, timers, dashboard, streaks, gamification, offline support, and ₹10 lifetime AI credits with a ₹2/day spending limit.

Premium Plan (₹99/month): Includes everything in Free, plus ₹100 AI credits/month (reset monthly), unlimited daily AI usage, and priority AI responses.

5. AI Credits & Usage

  • AI features consume credits: Daily Insights (₹0.05), Weekly Reports (₹1.00), Chat Coach (₹0.20)
  • Credits are checked before each AI call — requests are rejected if insufficient
  • Free users receive ₹10 lifetime credits (non-renewable)
  • Premium users receive ₹100 credits/month, resetting on billing date
  • Unused credits do not roll over between months for Premium users

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • Refunds are handled by the respective app store per their policies
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Abuse AI features (e.g., automated scripting, excessive requests)
  • Circumvent credit limits or payment systems

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of HabitDNA is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

HabitDNA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, which will trigger a full data purge per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
