Data Export
Your Data, Your Rules
Under GDPR (Article 20) and the India DPDP Act, you have the right to receive a copy of all personal data we hold about you in a portable, machine-readable format. HabitDNA makes this easy.
How to Export Your Data
Open Settings
In the HabitDNA app, go to Settings → Privacy & Data.
Request Export
Tap "Export My Data". We'll prepare your data package — this usually takes a few minutes.
Download
You'll receive a notification when your export is ready. Download the JSON file containing all your data.
What's Included
Your data export includes everything we store about you:
- Profile: Name, email, plan type, account creation date
- Habits: All habits with titles, types, and daily targets
- Session Logs: Every timer session with start time, end time, and duration
- Gamification: XP total, current level, all earned badges, streak history
- AI Usage: Log of all AI interactions with timestamps and credit costs
- Credit Balance: Current lifetime and monthly credit balances
Export Format
Data is exported as a single JSON file with the following structure:

Account Deletion
If you want to delete your account entirely, go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account. This will:
- Permanently delete all personal data within 30 days
- Cancel any active subscription
- Remove all habits, logs, gamification data, and AI history
- This action is irreversible — we recommend exporting your data first
